Having a stocky, shorter appearance with thick heads, Willis decoys come second only to the famed Carteret County carver, Mitchell Fulcher. He and Elmer Salter became carving partners producing a good number of pintails, geese, brant, redheads, scaup, canvasbacks, and many more species. Used by family, locals and clubs these decoys were highly sought after.

Original paint with minor stains to surface, wood check on right shoulder.
