Lithograph in colors, 1969, on wove paper, numbered "A 190/250" in pencil, from the American edition (there was also a French edition of 250 marked "F"), published by Harry N. Abrams, New York, with the "Lithographie exécutée par M. Salinas d'apres une peinture sur carton de Picasso" blindstamp at lower left, with full margins, matted and framed.

Sheet size 26 x 19 7/8 in.; Frame dimensions 42 x 35 in.

Portraits Imaginaire (Imaginary Portraits) is based on an original series of paintings on cardboard Picasso executed in 1969. Picasso collaborated with famed lithographer, Marcel Salinas, to create these lithographs. Many of the prints even incorporate color and striped patterns that mimic the cardboard used as the surface for the original paintings.

Excellent condition; a hint of toning at lower and left edges; not examined out of frame.
