Possibly Ottoman or Armenian, 19th century, in two parts - the outer frame featuring Neoclassical motifs including woman in classical style garments amidst garlands of grape vines and fruit flanking tall urns with female masks above "G. Palma," the interior liner with flaring rim to fit frame and with raised removable base with stylized heart form knop to center; marked to underside of removable base and with engraved monogram.
