Early 20th century, demilune form, white paint, pierced laurel leaf and berry back with scroll-work seat, swan form front arms and legs, rear twig form legs, signed HART.

According to Barbara Israel's Book, Antique Garden Ornament: Two Centuries of American Taste, the Laurel pattern was first registered by the Coalbrookdale Co. in England in their 1875 catalogue. Soon after J. L. Mott Iron works published it's Laurel pattern with minor changes: "These American "Laurel" seats bear the name "Hart," which, to this point, has yet been identified."

Later paint with flaking and scattered surface rust.
