19th century, including a matched pair of footed bowls decorated with gilt and polychrome painted birds on peony branches; together with a lidded bowl decorated with foliage including chrysanthemums, bamboo and mushrooms, the underside of bowl and lid with iron red peach cypher.

The pair of bowls are in fair condition: both with glaze fretting to the rims, one bowl with three old hairlines extending from the rim; the other bowl with extensive restoration and paint touch-ups both to the interior and exterior; the lidded bowl with hairline cracks to the bowl's rim; chips to the finial edge and tight hairline cracks to the lid rim at one side.
