Big Al was a charter boat captain who worked out of Oregon Inlet. He was an avid duck hunter and marlin fisherman. He founded Pirate`s Cove Marina, tended a duck sanctuary at his family home, made decoys and goose rockers for the yound ones in his life, was a lifetime member of Duck`s Unlimited, started restaurants, made many real friends, and authored an amazing obituary worth reading.
