Daniels is known for his sturdy decoys which spent a majority of their time in the unforgiving saltwater. Made with short heads with thick sturdy necks, these decoys saw hard use from Oregon Inlet and south to Buxton. His decoys spent their days at the Bodie Island Club, Duck Island Club, North Phipps Club and others in the early 1900s.

Original paint worn to bare wood in places, age check to bottom, base of the neck repaired.
