Jr., John & William Barnard, London (1837) hallmarks, wavy round form with chased foliate center and rim decorated with scrolling and floral bouquets in high relief, raised on (4) scrolled foliate feet, the center engraved "This Salver / With an accompanying Tea Service / is presented to / Samuel Rowles Pattison Esq. / Solicitor, F.G.S. / In taken of the esteem of his Friends & Neighbours / and of the regret of his removal from Launceston to the Metropolis / Sept 20th 1853"
