A Chinese Export Porcelain Armorial Covered Tureen with Underplate

Late 18th century, large oval tureen with cover and matching underplate, borders are decorated with blue Nanking pattern, hand painted crest adorns the cover, tureen, and underplate, crest with a pink draped silk cape and gold tassels surrounding the monogram of REL under a regal dog.

Tureen 9 1/2 x 13 1/2 x 10 in., Underplate 2 x 14 1/4 x 11 3/4 in.

Some restoration to finial on cover; an area of repair and restoration to rim of cover; some light flaking to rim edge of cover; a deep hairline crack to interior well of tureen from use.
