A fine early brant with the body being constructed of two pieces of balsa possibly hollowed, the head carved from juniper, included tag states "LONG ISLAND, NY / Original paint carver unknown / c. 1930, From the rig of Herman Forster Wellsville, NY / 1898 -1984.

Original paint with craquelure scuffing, wear to tip of the bill.
