20th century, includes a large porcelain "Laughing Buddha" or Budai sculpture hand painted in bright polychrome colors, Buddha sits smiling with little children climbing on him, underside reads "Made in Hong Kong," and a smaller heavier sculpture of a seated scholar on a rock holding a handscroll, his robe and hat hand painted in iron red and white, impressed seal to underside.
