Early 20th century, copper brown colored bronze with a clear lacquer finish, the lantern is a traditional toro form, this pedestal dai-doro lantern has shaped dome roof with barbed rim and three cut outs in form of clouds, the globular body of the lantern features four pierced panels decorated with a karakusa pattern of scrolling vines, raised on a shaped pedestal.
