20th century, to include: the first, a hinged box with floral patterns, lid with painting of Krishna and Radha in a landscape under plexiglass, unmarked, acid tests as silver, content unknown; the second, an oval .800 pill box with rope and other patterns, hinged lid with stone top, possibly carnelian, featuring Arabic text, marked to interior.

The first, 7 x 4 1/4 in.; the second 2 in. wide.

The first with light overall scratches, small nicks to edges, sticker residue on underside; the second with rubbing to pattern, verdigris, marks to underside, and crack and small amount of rust to interior; good overall estate condition.
