The largest, an Elizabeth II caster, mark of Viner's Ltd (Emile Viner), Sheffield (1958), pattern number K20, octagonal faceted form with reticulated lid and urn form finial, without a monogram (7 1/2 in.); the smaller, a near pair of Victorian casters or salt and pepper shakers, mark of John Aldwinkle & Thomas Slater; London (1884) and (1886), stepped forms with reticulated lids having urn form finials, without monograms (3 3/4 in.)
