20th century, the first, a Burmese black lacquer tray with polychrome Buddhist figural decoration (12 x 12 in.), the second, a Burmese lacquer box with polychrome foliate decoration throughout and inscription to center of lid (5 1/2 in. diameter), the third, a Thai black lacquer box with gilt foliate decoration to lid (4 in. diameter), and the last, a Chinese black lacquer box with mother of pearl inlaid floral motifs (5 x 10 3/4 x 6 in.)
