John Peabody was born in 1792 and was active in Fayetteville, North Carolina circa 1823 to 1836, and in Nashville, Tennessee circa 1836 to 1849; he is the son of John Tyng Peabody who was active in Wilmington, North Carolina from 1787 to 1822.
