Alvah Hamilton, Sr. made this finely carved willet around 1910. He carved it from a 1.25 in. board which is thicker than his dowitchers. This decoy has a more elongated leaning body and the long nail extends the profile.

Original paint worn to bare wood in places, iron bill has oxidation, hit by shot.
