Solomon Beasley was a master carpenter in Currituck County. He built quality furniture, decoys, and boats. His decoys are extremely rare and most were made before the turn of the century. His decoys have a very distinctive pinched bill.

Old gunning paint flaking from the head, working repair to neck, wood loss to tip of bill, hit by shot.
