This decoy has a V carving where the bill meets the head and has been attributed in the past as a John Fisk made decoy. John Austin had some variance in his styling and it is strongly believed that Austin made this fine redhead.

Old gunning paint with moderate wear, working repair to the neck, age check in the head.
