Made in France, 1920s-1930s, constructed of signature monogram canvas with polished brass fittings, wood slats, and leather trim fastened with small brass tacks. The linen-lined interior has a removable webbed tray and deep bin with webbed sides and base. The trunk retains the original locks and side handles, and an interior Louis Vuitton label is partially obscured but present.

The canvas has scattered gashes and is lifting from the frame in several places, especially at the front base; the leather trim has aged as expected also with drying and some losses; brass has some minor dents and scratches. The interior linen has allover stains, soiling, and mold.
