Edo period (1615-1868), 19th century, porcelain hand painted in underglaze cobalt blue with iron red and gilt, a serene landscape with village houses and a lone figure crossing a bridge, heaped mountains surround the seaside scene, the landscape continues to the exterior, two birds fly over the water and a red seal on well of bowl, underside with double foot rims.

Overall good estate condition; some glaze slips with loss to rim; nick to rim and foot rim.
