John "Crash" Matos is a New York-based Graffiti artist, curator, and gallery owner. He started his career spray painting trains in the 1970s, but soon began exhibiting his work on canvas in galleries. Matos has worked with many famous companies, including Levi Strauss & Co. and Fender Guitars, and his work is included in several museum permanent collections such as The Brooklyn Museum in Brooklyn, New York.
