Bob is perhaps, the most iconic decoy maker from Churches Island. His bodies are typically large and thick with a small chipped carved paddle tail, the bodies are sanded smooth and have a gentle drop in the back. He was a gifted carver and took pride in crafting each decoy. A rig mate redhead is published in Decoys A North American Survey by Gene and Linda Kangas.

Original paint worn to bare wood in places, wear to left side of the bill.
