This work is from a series commissioned by Carlo Bilotti, as president of Jacqueline Cochran, Inc., a prominent fragrance company, to accompany the release of perfumes by Pierre Cardin. Bilotti was close friends with Warhol and commissioned several important works, including a double portrait of his wife and daughter, Tina and Lisa Bilotti, and the Bilotti Chapel. The chapel was never completed, but a model of it is on display in the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh.

Accompanying the work is a framed black & white photograph of Andy Warhol and Pierre Cardin standing in front of the commissioned works at a promotional party.

Good condition; small air pocket at center left edge of pink sheet; small spot of flaking near center left edge of sheet; not examined out of the frame.
