20th century, a pair of bulbous shaped jars with interior rated flat cover and a second cover that rests on top, hand painted in the Imari palette of iron red, cobalt blue and highlights of gilt with fauna and flora within large registers and honeycomb shaped medallions, interior cover is undecorated, the underside of each jar has an archaic vessel mark in iron red.
