Including Aquatic Blooms, watercolor on paper, exhibited at Alexander Brest Gallery, Jacksonville Florida (1984), and an untitled painting, watercolor and gouache on crumpled paper, circa mid-1980s, each signed and stamped with a Chinese character mark to lower right and matted and framed under glass.

Sheet sight of each 21 1/2 x 13 1/2 in. Frame dimensions of each 37 x 23 in.

Mun Quan is a landscape painter in the Chinese tradition. Born in Canton, China, his family settled in Jacksonville, Florida in 1926. Quan studied at the Canton Academy of Art and with Ko-Kim Fu in Canton, China as well as with Nicholas Volpe in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a professor of art at Jacksonville University from the 1970s to the 1990s.
