Late 19th century; the first, a double-page illustrated manuscript with polychrome and gilt images depicting seated portraits of Emperor Shahjahan and Empress Mumtaz Mahal, reverse side is framed clear so text can be viewed; the second, a single-page illustrated manuscript with a polychrome image of figures hunting in a landscape, reverse is also framed clear so text can be viewed, both float mounted in black frames under glass.


The first DOA 12 1/2 x 14 in.; The second DOA 14 1/2 x 10 3/4 in.

Each with overall toning. The first with loss at centerfold, the second with staining and wear at edges of sheet.
