Early to mid 20th century, ink and colors on silk, features an older fisherman walking beneath tall water reeds carrying a basket with a fish protruding from the side, inscription to the middle right hand side together with two red artist seals, professionally framed with mat in beautiful gilt and lacquered frame.

Frame dimensions 56 1/2 x 23 in., Image size 45 1/2 x 12 1/2 in.

Overall toning to silk; scattered foxing and spots of discoloration; some horizontal pulls to silk to lower half of the painting; appears to have some ink removed or perhaps painted to reverse of silk by water reeds in lower right corner; not examined outside of the frame.
