Serial number 11881 on trigger guard tang, watertable, barrel flat, and beneath forend, Prussian made, 28 in. blued barrels marked in gold inlay CHARLES DALY REGENT DIAMOND QUALITY / WITTEN EXCELSIOR STEEL, right barrel is choked C, left barrel is choked IM, flat rib with single bead sight, shell ejectors, ORVIS snap caps, fine scroll work engraving on receiver with gold inlaid vignettes of flying mallard on the left, flying woodcock on the right, flying mallard beneath sovereigns crown on bottom, and a setter on the trigger guard, double triggers, European walnut straight stock and forend with fine checkering, checkered side panels, gold oval on toe line, long splinter forend has inlet schnabel horn tip. LOP 14.25 in.
