Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century, appears to be huanghuali, rectangular top with flush panel, down-ward scrolled ends with pierced carved intertwined panel and faux-bamboo scroll-work, the top edge with repeating faux bamboo carving, pierced caved grapevine skirt, pierced and relief carved faux-bamboo legs with quatrefoil faux-bamboo stretcher panel, shaped stylized scroll feet, decorated to all sides.

Top with finish inconsistency; shrinkage crack and possible edge loss at one corner of panel (this area being 12.5 in. long); three later brace blocks to underside; one grapevine skirt panel with breaks and re-gluing and two small edge chips at the break sites (now stable).
