Carved wood with pigments, a seated figure of the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara (Guanyin in Chinese), hair is styled in a chignon, the plump face and downcast eyes in a meditative expression, wearing a necklace and bracelets and dressed in flowing loose silk fabric robe, seated with one leg hanging and the right arm resting on the raised knee of the other leg, comes together with a tall custom black base.
