Length 26 in.

In World War 2, Winton Thompson distinguished himself while piloting the Higgins Amphibious Landing Craft in the invasion of Northern Africa and also Normandy. When the war was over, he returned home and guided and hunted waterfowl with his friend Carl Hubbard. He made this swan decoy around 1950. It is made in the classic Currituck style. Original paint with moderate gunning wear, some paint loss to the back of the neck.
