From A Collection of a North Carolina Sporting Art Enthusiast

Léon Danchin was a French artist known for his sporting scenes with dogs and birds. He studied at L'Ecole des Beaux Art in Paris and was accepted by the Salon des Artists at the mere age of sixteen. Danchin stayed in France with his family throughout his life and he was an avid hunter. It was from his sporting outings and that he was inspired and completed many of his hunting scenes.

Some general sheet wear, including light toning, sheet waviness, and few skinning spots in margins; slight shifting of framing; not examined out of frame.
