Full period vellum, ink manuscript title on spine, speckled edges. 8vo; XLII, [2], 387, [1 errata]pp. Text in Italian. (Vellum with scuffs and stains, sticker on tail of spine, light wear at head and tail; ink and pencil manuscript on paste-downs, cracking and glue at front hinge, half-title with small loss at inner margin, minor ink mark on title page; pages lightly toned with scattered foxing.)

(Scuffing and staining to leather, with edgewear, loss to leather at one corner and head of spine, spine with creasing, label chipped, darkening at tail, joints rubbed and cracked with leather separating; lacking paste-downs, several leaves with staining from binder's glue, cracking at hinges, damp staining at tail of hinge and inner corners, previous owner's name on free endpaper, lacking (2) free endpapers; pages with light toning and occasional light grime, foxing mostly at endpapers, pages crisp and unmarked.)

(Boards scuffed with light edgewear, corners rubbed; paste-downs with bookplate, endpapers with minor offsetting and staining from binder's glue; light toning, occasional foxing and light grime throughout; vol. I with light cracking at front hinge and title page with small ink mark, mild staining, (2) closed tears, and area of thinned paper; very good condition.)
