Illustrated brown cloth-covered boards with gilt, beveled edges, top edge gilt, illustrated endpapers. Folio; 56 illustrations. With small drawing, and signed, dated, and inscribed on front free endpaper by American artist Marietta Minnigerode Andrews to her relative: "To my dear Rozier Dulany from his Po' Relation / Marietta Minnigerode Andrews / June 1928." (A fair to good copy with boards scuffed, small stain on front cover, corners heavily rubbed, spine with cloth losses and tears at head and tail with one additional small loss, slight cracking at rear joint, front joint taped; cracking at hinges, endpapers with edge chips and several small marks; pages toned at edges with scattered foxing, and occasional damp staining at edges and corners, small stain or tear, or light grime.)

(2) leaves with text from the Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám, gilt manuscript surrounded by colorful border on parchment, ca. 1500. In finely bound green and red leather gilt tooled boards, in red clamshell box with gilt on spine and cloth-lined interior. (Leaves in very good condition, set into/no longer bound in boards, surrounding leaves lightly toned and foxed; boards very good with edgewear; case with scuffs and marks, corners rubbed.)
