Large folio; [10] (lacking half-title), xxxviii, 580, 324, [60]pp. Roman type, in double columns; text in Greek and Latin. Title page printed in red and black, with dedication, life of Aristophanes, errata, index, decorated initials, head-pieces and ornaments.

Boards scuffed with edgewear, corners rubbed, worming on upper board, label with minor chips and slight separation, leather darkening at spine and lower board, losses at head and tail of spine and corner of lower board, joints with cracking and one small wormhole, binding still sturdy overall; pages toned with light to heavy foxing; occasional marginalia, small stain/grime, minor hole or tear; G2 and G3 with larger areas of staining and corner repair, several leaves with damp staining; lacking half-title, otherwise complete, a good copy of this oversize volume.
