19th century, a well cast pair of brass elephant form candlesticks, cast in two parts with a seam where the holder meets the back, there are wonderful details to the elephants and some inset stones, the pair comes together with fitted custom wood stands.

Some small losses and repair where the holder holders attach to back of elephants; some pushes and minor nick to candle holder; repair to foot of one; some cracking, wear and loss to underside of elephants and their legs; soldered to area where candle handle meets the back of the elephant; loss of almost all inset stones.
