Tang dynasty style, earthenware with pigments, a seated female rider with arms lifted as to hold the reigns of the powerful horse she sits upon, the horse is muscular and has its head raised and mouth open, the sculpture rises from a rectangular plinth, comes together with a custom carved wooden stand.

DOA 15 1/4 x 14 x 6 in.

Good estate condition; loss to one ear of the horse; some corners of plinth are angled perhaps from loss; some scattered nicks and wear to edges; remnants of black pigments.
