Second half 19th century, watercolor and gouache on ivory, unsigned, delicately rendered female empress or princess sitters in fine Indian attire, possibly likenesses of Mumtaz Mahal, three seated before landscape and drapery background, and the smaller with gray hatched background, each within a gilt locket frame with foliate cast bail.

Largest 2 5/8 in. wafer; 3 1/2 in. locket (including bail)

Good estate condition; some marks to blue sky background of sitter holding flower; smallest with some color loss to uppper right; some scratches to lockets.
