From the Personal Collection of Mr. Kroghie Andresen, Charlotte, North Carolina Formerly in the collection of John Funderburg, former curator of the North Carolina Museum of History. Mr Funderburg collected this decoy in the 1960s in Rodanthe, North Carolina.
This large St. Clair Midgett goose required a deep keel with added weights to keep it upright. It has wonderful folk art appeal.
