Mid 18th century, two pairs of octagonal shaped plates with soup bowls, the first a soup bowl and plate are hand painted with large peony blossoms and ribbons, the dimpled rim border populated with gilt stars, and the second a soup bowl and plate are hand painted with scenic Chinese seaside landscapes in polychrome enamels, the cavetto with gilt ruyi head pattern, the wide dimpled rims with floral decoration.
