Third quarter 19th century, all with retailer mark of Ball, Black & Co. of New York (active 1851-1874), and either marked 'STERLING' or '925,' to include: a fish slice (12 1/4 in.) and serving fork ( 9 1/4 in.) with matching 'FDE' monogram; a pie server with engraved floral motif blade and 'LPC' monogram (9 3/8 in.); jelly/aspic server with bright cut blade tip, 'h' monogram to handle (8 3/4 in.) ; (2) master butter knives with bright cut scroll motif blades, larger with 'E' monogram (larger 7 5/8 in.); shell berry spoon with stippled blade, no monogram (8 1/2 in.); and a pastry server with bright cut blade edge and script 'WB' monogram (9 1/8 in.).
