A Large Chinese Pottery Sancai Warrior

Ming style or period, green and golden yellow, aubergine and turquoise glaze
sitting with legs outstretched at ease, one hand to leg and other raised, hands may have previously held implements, dressed in chain metal armor and stylized helmet, he has an intense expression with deep creases and large eyes, he rests on a glazed plinth, unglazed to underside.
