Meiji period (1868-1912), porcelain hand painted in underglaze blue with overglaze iron red, green, and gilt enamels, each with a ribbed body that flares into an elegant trumpet shape with wide scalloped rim mouth, the body is decorated with two large reserves populated with foo lions frolicking amid a garden of large floral blooms with plum blossom branches overhead.
