From the Personal Collection of Mr. Kroghie Andresen, Charlotte, North Carolina Former collection of Johnny Johnson of Virginia Beach. Johnny found this decoy when he went through the old living quarters at the Whalehead Club that Griggs O'Neal used when he was a deputy sheriff for Currituck County.
The cork and wood Griggs O'Neal coots are highly sought after by southern folk art collectors.
