Qianlong period (1736-95), includes two porcelain plates, the first hand painted to the center with large coat of arms of Baker quartering Cholmley impaling Bateman, scroll bands and floral sprays to the wide rim, and the second, a hand painted with pair of birds under peony blossoms to center, rim decorated with coat of arms to bottom and a blue wolf with crown on a chain to the top.

Private Collection, Virginia Beach, Virginia Collected by the consignor and her husband with the guidance of David Sanctuary Howard, who literally wrote the book on Chinese Armorial porcelain. The couple began collecting during the 1970s from galleries and auction houses across Europe and the United States, and even from Howard himself. This collection is a very special offering of some rare and wonderful pieces collected over a lifetime with great care and passion.
Both dishes with hairlines to rims, (one is professionally repaired) the famille rose bowl with restored rim chip.
