19th century, wood with lacquer, gilt, and inlaid colored glass, the Buddha is carved and decorated in the Mandalay style, standing barefoot on a lotus blossom base with gilt filigree patterning and inlaid with colored glass, one hand holds the hem of his robe while the other holds a small object symbolizing "a grain of truth," his hands are lowered to his side, elegant layered robe with carved floriate pattern and inlaid with colored glass to edges, the hem of the robe flows outwards in an ethereal way, the Buddha's face is serene, painted white eyes with black pupils almost closed, set onto a black wooden stand.
