Kangxi period (1662-1722), porcelain with black glaze hand painted in gold with plum blossoms and bamboo, underside is unglazed surrounding a small circle that is glazed in the center, comes together with a carved wood stand.

4 3/4 in., 4 1/8 in. diameter, with stand 6 in.

From the collection of Thomas English Cody (1889-1948), the great nephew of Buffalo Bill Cody, and by family descent.

Good estate condition; a small nick to interior of rim; a few minor nicks to foot rim; some rubbing with loss to gilt decoration.
