Qianlong period (1736-95), coral red glazed censer bowl with dragon handles flanking the sides, interior with turquoise glaze, underside is unglazed surrounding a small circle that is glazed in the center, comes together with a carved wood stand.

2 1/2 in., 6 1/4 in., with stand 4 in.

From the collection of Thomas English Cody (1889-1948), the great nephew of Buffalo Bill Cody, and by family descent.

Very good estate condition; some rubbing with loss to enamels along rim edge; a very slight nick to foot rim.
