A Japanese Kiri Wood Hibachi

Meiji or Taisho period, early 20th century, hand painted in hiramaki-e and maki-e with autumn flowers on bamboo fence, beautiful grain to wood, presented together with a copper liner and carved wood stand.

Good estate condition; some light scattered wear and nicks; copper liner with patina from age and use.
